Short Description:
There is a large mansion in a beautiful valley in the middle of nowhere. The history of this mansion is shrouded in mystery, and terrible rumors of haunting and death surround it. The true secret of this house has nothing really to do with ghosts however, but much more to do with the strange tenants that live not in the rooms of the house, but on the walls which are covered with paintings. No one has lived in this home for some time. Those who live in the painted worlds on the walls have even forgotten that the "giants" ever existed at all. That is, until Susan De'Call set her sights on the old house...

Listening to the Voices in Your Head

( http://www.polyvore.com/know_voices_in_my_head/thing?id=55991804 ) So I was cleaning out my apartment today and found a bunch of old Happy Bunny quotes that I've had since, oh, elementary school I think. One of the quotes inspired today's post. It is the one featured to the side. (I would share the picture itself, but I can't find it on the internet and my scanner is out of commission currently. Perhaps someday I will add it to a page on this blog entitled, "Memes for roleplayers"...but I digress.) My friends and I are always talking about how our characters do this or would say that or think that or whatever. The characters literally exist in a plane of our brains, and we have very little to do with what they decide to do when we write for them. Helping your Character have a Voice.

Hey guys! theapprentice here! Second post! BOOYA! XD So today, we are going to be talking a bit about giving you characters a voice. And it’s not as much their actual voice , but more the way they speak that we’re discussing. So lets say you have a character that…. had a british accent! Or maybe he’s chinese! Australian, German, Scottish, just someone with a freaking awesome accent! How do you go about writing that? Well, off the top of my head I can think of two general ways. Fake it till you make it. No kidding guys. I do this quite a bit in the roleplay physicogiggles and I are doing right now ( Apocalypse ). I have this chinese character named Sano. He grew up in what used to be China and has a pretty freaking thick accent. -_-’ No kidding guys, sometimes I regret making him talk like that. BUT! In the end it is worth it! (plus that’s just the way he is, so what am I gonna do about that? ;) ) I’m just suggesting to you guys to “fake it”, as in just spell the words they
